After almost 6 months of development we are proud to release the Google Earth South Africa layer developed for South African Tourism (viewable at http://earth.southafrica.net). This layer is a complete tourist experience and covers a range of attractions that make South Africa the unique tourist destination it is.
We launched the Google Earth South Africa layer at the recent Tourism Indaba in Durban and it has received a great deal of both local and international praise, including Google South Africa’s own Stafford Masie.
